Read the instructions for use before picking up the sauna. The renter is responsible for all damages caused to the sauna.
Initial actions
- Sauna handbrake on
- Under the hood is a rickshaw that can be found in the sauna.
- The cam wheel alone can barely withstand the weight of sauna users.
- Lower and tighten the support legs in the rear corners.
- Without support legs, two or three people in the dressing room can make the bow of the sauna rise up.
- Empty the ash tray.
- Ash is a good fertilizer that can be emptied into the forest, for example.
- Do not empty into buckets of water.
- Collect any nails etc. out of the ashes and into a garbage bag.
- Fill the hot water heater at least 2/3 full.
- There must be water in the water heater during the heating of the sauna, otherwise it may burn out or the seal may break.
Use of the stove
- No painted wood, treated wood, plywood, glulam, etc.
- Keep the glass door of the stove closed when there is a fire in the stove.
- The maximum length of the flaps is about 30cm.
- Use the air hatch under the stove for oxygen intake by opening it approx 2-4 cm
- With small trees (approx. 2-5 cm diameter), the sauna is ready for use in half an hour in summer/autumn and no more than an hour later in severe frosts.
- Tip: You get the best steams when the stove burns continuously 2-4 times at a time.
- Do not burn paper products in the stove, it causes soot in the chimney.
During sauna
- Use tablecloths
- The intermediate door of the sauna has a latch that is only used on the sauna side. Ask the person in the sauna to open the intermediate door.
- The mosquito curtain on the front door can be opened or closed calmly by pulling it to the side as high as possible.
- You can wash in the sauna room and the water is allowed to go on the floor. Around the edge of the sauna floor is a 0.5 cm wide inlet air/exhaust water gap, from which the water drains away.
- However, remember to dry the sauna after cleaning
- You only use biodegradable shampoo/detergent when washing in the sauna.
After-cleaning
IMPORTANT!! Put at least one more full nest of small trees to burn, so that the sauna dries and does not mold.
- Everything that is on the floor and wet should be lifted onto the boards or out of the sauna while it dries.
- Place the dressing room carpet on the upper shelves to dry
- Empty the buckets, and put them on the rafts.
- Extra firewood can be left in the sauna. Put them on the upper shelves while drying.
- Remove trash and personal belongings from the sauna.
- Support the intermediate door of the sauna in half open e.g. with a chair. In this case, the dressing room can also dry out.
- Close the exterior doors completely during drying so that the heat does not escape.
- Do not empty the ash door when it is hot. Leave the ashes where they are.
Before leaving
After adding the last pieces of firewood, wait about an hour until the fire burns down to ashes and the floor is dry before driving.
- Empty the water tank with a bucket so that water remains 1/4 or less. Empty the buckets of water out onto the ground.
- Sweep the floor out through the door.
- All things on the floor, chairs on top of each other and upside down
Prepare the sauna trailer for driving:
- Raise the back supports of the sauna and get on the front support
- When the sauna is correctly connected to the car, check the operation of the lights
- Sauna handbrake off
- If you reverse, switch on the kit protection from the sauna handle and lock it in place with a metal pin.
- If you don't know how to use a pack protector, don't pack the sauna.
- After canceling, REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE TRUNK COVER, otherwise the sauna brakes will not work.
- Enjoy the ride! Max 80km/h.
Return
Take the sauna back to its place.
Tip: You can move the sauna the last few meters by hand quite easily, at least on flat ground.
If you leave the sauna in the penalty zone, you are responsible for parking fines.
When you have taken the sauna back to its place, take at least 1 photo of the inside and 1 photo of the outside and send it by email to hei@havusauna.com.
Also tell me if you have noticed any problems in the sauna or if something has broken.
